Touhou Chourantan ～ Avian Panic in Asphodel

A spectre is haunting Gensokyo. The birds have united and occupied Hell, seeking to overthrow the existing order. The Ministry of Right and Wrong tasks you, Kutaka Niwatari, with peacefully resolving the issue through negotiation. Will you go at it alone, or seek help? Can a birdbrain like you even do anything to stop the inevitable forces of history? And will Yuuma ever get her spork back?

Content warning: while there are no major depictions of violence or references to recent world events, this game contains quite a few political themes. It is heavily inspired by Disco Elysium after all. The opinions of any character in the game are not necessarily those of the authors.

Mechanics

Read this if you're confused about the religion mechanics or the skills. The religion mechanics keep track of which religion(s) you favor, and some dialogue and text will change based on it. They are not too influential in the jam version, but may be expanded in a future update. Skill checks work by rolling dice, just like in Disco Elysium. Checks may either be one-time only, or repeatable. They are only used lightly in the jam version due to time constraints.

To see what skills are available, click on the "Skills" menu item in the sidebar. The skill values are fixed in the jam version, but may be rerolled or increased throughout the game in a future update. Religion values have no effect on skill values in the jam version.
